This means that the German are given days off on Sunday and special holidays. The government protects this decision.
I chose this because I feel its important that people are given days off in order to rest or spend time with their family.
While I do agree rest is important, I think that closing businesses on Sundays is not for the government to decide but for the business owner. If as a business owner I want my workers to work on the weekend that is between me and them.
